ARCS Virtual Summit 2020 Report

The ARCS Virtual Summit held online 12-16th October brought together key stakeholders of industry, regulator, academia and researchers who provided essential updates on the key areas of regulatory medicines, medical devices, real world evidence, the clinical trials and clinical research landscape and leadership. The Summit highlighted some key changes required for the continued delivery of clinical trials in Australia in light of COVID-19.

In addition to the live sessions during the summit, Shanny Dyer, CEO talked to Australian Health Journal on the ways in which policy has positively impacted patients during COVID-19. ARCS Australia launched a series of patient roundtable videos. In these roundtable discussion, patient were asked what had changed for them during COVID-19 in how their healthcare is delivered, what they have liked or not liked, and what should be carried though into the future.
