Dr Helen Moon is a Specialist Orthodontist dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred orthodontic care. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) and began her career as a general dentist, gaining valuable experience over 2.5 years in comprehensive dental practice. This foundation provided her with a broad understanding of oral health before she pursued advanced specialist training in orthodontics.
Dr Moon completed her specialist orthodontic education at the University of Manitoba in Canada. She is a registered Specialist Orthodontist with AHPRA in Australia and maintains the highest standards of clinical care and professional practice.
Her professional achievements include becoming a Board-Certified Orthodontist in Canada and earning Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC), distinctions that reflect her dedication to clinical excellence and specialist orthodontic care. Dr Moon is also a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and remains actively engaged in continuing professional development, maintaining currency with advancements in orthodontic research, technology, and treatment methodologies.
With specialist qualifications and professional recognition in both Australia and Canada, Dr Moon brings an international perspective to orthodontic care, combining contemporary evidence-based treatment approaches with a focus on long-term sustainable treatment outcomes. She currently practices at The Bachmayer Orthodontic Clinic, providing orthodontic treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.

She has recently led teams of pharmacists in innovative pharmacy practice models including in aged care, GP practice, palliative care and dementia support. This has contributed to the body of evidence for sustainable funding for embedded pharmacist roles in primary care and aged care settings.
